I am a Consultant Solicitor at Keystone Law specialising in business partnership law, providing advice and assistance in relation to partnership and LLP member disputes, boardroom and shareholder disputes, and partnership and LLP documentation, restructuring, mergers and other transactions such as the sale and purchase of interests in partnerships and LLPs, and LLP conversion.
I regularly act for partnerships, LLPs and limited companies or their partners, members or directors as the case may be.
I work across a number of business sectors, including professional practices (solicitors, accountants, surveyors, architects, patent attorneys, medical practitioners, and others), City investment management, property investment/development, retail, care homes and farming.
I also advise partners of financially distressed or insolvent professional practices and directors of insolvent companies on a range of insolvency-related issues.
I have just completed a six-year term as a Committee Member of the Association of Partnership Practitioners (“APP”), the leading forum in the partnerships field, and I have chaired APP workshops on “LLP Disputes”, “Rogue Partners” and “Partnership Dispute Arbitration and Mediation”. Later this year I am chairing a “Discrimination Update” workshop.
In addition to my work as a solicitor, I have been a CEDR accredited mediator since 1998 and take mediation appointments, as well as acting for parties to mediations.
